Former Doctor Charged with Assault Charges Involving Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Prosecutors have stated that a former doctor stands accused of committing assaults against thirty-eight victims who were under his care.

Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of dozens of acts of sexual assault – comprising acts against children younger than 13 – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021.
A senior CPS official stated, “Legal teams have diligently worked to assist a thorough and intricate investigation, carefully reviewing the evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
The Investigation
The charges follow what police called a “complex investigation” into reported sexual offences at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.
