The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
